MacEwan's Christenson Family Centre for Sport and Wellness offers many flexible options to suit your lifestyle.
If you just want to use MacEwan Centre on a casual basis, we have drop-in rates for single visits or ten-pass cards. If you're looking to make a true, lifestyle-commitment to health and fitness, we offer monthly and annual memberships options.
When you become a member you receive a 3-hour parking pass (first-come, first-serve)and discounted rates on wellness services such as personal training and nutrition counseling. When you purchase an annual membership, you receive a Polar BodyAge Health and Fitness Assessment from our qualified Certified Exercise Physiologists and a one-hour personal training session or two 30-minute private swim lessons. All benefits and terms are listed under our public membership rates.
Drop-in Rates
For access to the fitness area, pool, gymnasium, squash/racquetball courts and value-added fitness classes. For your convenience we now offer a monthly membership plan that automatically debits your payments from your bank account or credit card. *Alumni and Recent Alumni rates apply to MacEwan graduates with credentials (degree, certificate or diploma). Recent Alumni rates apply within your first two years of graduation. If you sign-up within six months of graduating, the enrollment fee will be waived.

We offer two types of memberships - Unlimited Use (Plan A) and Limited Use (Plan B). Both memberships include: - access to the pool and gymnasium during unscheduled times
- access to drop-in fitness and pool classes at no additional charge
- use of the squash/racquetball courts
- a three-hour parking pass (LOT H), parking is subject to availability
- discount on registered programs
- discounted rates on fitness testing, personal training and nutrition counseling
- use of locker/steam rooms
Plan A - Unlimited Use membership gives you full access to the fitness area (cardio/weight equipment) during business hours.
Plan B - Limited Use membership gives you access to the fitness area (cardio/weight equipment) except during our peak hours - Monday to Friday, 12:00-1:00pm and 4:30-7:00pm.
Both memberships do not include registered programs or locker and towel rentals.

Cancelling Your Membership
- Written notice is required on your last visit.
- Cancellation forms are available at our Access Desk.
- Please return your membership card at your last visit to the MacEwan Centre for Sport and Wellness.
- If you decide to re-join after 30 days, a $42 re-enrollment fee will be charged.
