City Centre Campus

MacEwan Sport and Wellness is located in the Christenson Family Centre (109 st. and 104 ave.) and hosts a 5,000 square foot fitness area, a 25-metre pool, a 40-person hot tub, a beautiful gymnasium, steam rooms and squash/racquetball courts.

Fitness Area

Join us for a workout in a comfortable, bright environment suitable for all health needs. Emmense amounts of natural light flood into the 5000-square-foot fitness area, featuring a wide variety of cardio and weight equipment for members to enjoy.

Aquatics Centre

MacEwan Centre for Sport and Wellness boasts a beautiful, 25-meter pool featuring a shallow teach area for little ones and Edmonton's only climbing wall in a swimming pool. Swimming lessons, drop-in aquatics classes, lane swim, and private parties and public swim times are available. A 40-person hot tub and steam rooms are also available in the brightly-lit, relaxing aquatic space.

Gymnasium

A beautiful, three court gymnasium is a main feature at MacEwan Centre for Sport and Wellness. Home to our MacEwan Griffins athletic teams, the gymnasium is also utilized for MacEwan Recreation tournaments and events. Public gym times are available. Squash / Racquetball Courts

Four full-sized squash/racquetball courts are available at MacEwan Centre for Sport and Wellness for members and the public to use on a drop-in basis.

Court bookings are available 7 days in advance. Contact the Access Desk at 497-5300 then 2 for booking information.

South Campus

South Campus students who pay the Membership Fee as part of their tuition have access to the South Campus fitness area. South Campus fitness area hours of operation are Mon - Thurs: 7am - 6pm, Fri: 7am - 5pm.

Fragrance Free Zone

Please refrain from wearing colognes, perfumes and other scented products in the fitness area, change rooms, and steam rooms to accommodate patrons who are sensitive and/or allergic to fragrances.
