BodyAge Battle with Team 1260
MacEwan Sport and Wellness and the Team 1260 are joined forces in the Battle to improve three people's BodyAge and ultimately their lives.
Three contestants were chosen from The Team 1260 listeners to take part in a BodyAge Battle. Each contestant will be given an initial assessment and will work with a Personal Trainer at MacEwan Sport and Wellness for two months to lower their BodyAge.
The winner receives a year membership at MacEwan Sport and Wellness and weekly Personal Trainer sessions to continue on the path to change their health and lifestyle.
A Polar BodyAge Health and Fitness Assessment is the best way to set a starting point, assess your strengths and identify your training needs. The assessment provides you with a score indicating whether you are above or below your current biological age. For example, if someone is 35 but their BodyAge is 45, there are steps that can be taken to work to improve BodyAge and overall health and fitness.
Unlike other weight loss competitions, we aren't looking for the quick fix, but to help make an ongoing commitment to change. Polar BodyAge Assessments take into consideration not just weight, but Body Composition, Cardiovascular Efficiency, Muscular Strength and Endurance, Flexibility, and Health Risk Assessment (i.e. nutrition, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and stress).
