Watch the BodyAge Battle Winner Video
Dave, Klint and Tyler all began the BodyAge Battle with the hopes of improving their health and lifestyle and the side affect would be lowering their BodyAge. After initial testing all three had BodyAges above their biological age and so they worked for two months with a personal trainer and nutritional consultant from Sport and Wellness.
After two hard months the three contestants in the MacEwan Sport and Wellness and Team 1260 BodyAge Battle all improved their BodyAges, but there can be only one winner who lowered it the most.

Swim to Fitness
Master Swim
This swim program runs September through December with the opportunity to join at anytime; price will be pro-rated accordingly. A certified coach will lead you through a great workout including a variety of stroke drills, distance challenges and individual feedback. This unique group is ideal for recreational and competitive swimmers as well as triathletes. Begins September 7.
Mind and Body Water Fitness
Ever wondered what it would be like to do Yoga or Pilates in the water? Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-5:45pm for a relaxing and stress free class that will calm and strengthen your mind and body. Begins September 7, 2010.
Early Bird Water Fitness
If you are up early and want to get active before beginning your busy schedule, join us from 6:30-7:30am to get energized to face your day while strengthening your muscles and cardiovascular system. Begins September 8, 2010.
Stroke Fixers for Adults
Come for regular drop in sessions on Fridays from 12-1pm where an instructor will assist you in improving your swim abilities and technique. Begins September 10, 2010.Interested in Other Aquatic Programs?

Choose Your Own Adventure
On September 13 and 14 MacEwan Sport and Wellness is launching Choose Your Own Adventure and the opening of fall student programming registration.
This new incentive program rewards students for participating in student only programs like Recreation programming, student-only fitness classes and watching home Griffins games.

Reserve Your Bike for Spin Classes
Avoid the line-ups and reserve your favourite Spin Bike for only $20/month. Every time you come in for your class you are guaranteed a spot in our popular spin classes.
High Velocity Spin
Gear up for a spinning adventure with superb spin instructors to guide you through cycling strength exercise, super speed work, challenging hills and more. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced cyclist, you will be able to challenge yourself as you set the level of intensity that suits your individual fitness level.
Classes are free for members or $9 for drop-in. Please be punctual to allow time for bike set up.
Superspin & Core
This class is a combo of 40-45 min. of challenging spin intervals and hill work and fun group games followed by 15-20 min. of hard core exercises and cool-down stretches. All levels of fitness are welcome. We provide the motivating guidance; you choose your effort level.
Classes are free for members or $9 for drop-in.

Fun N' Fit
This class is specifically designed for those with a need to exercise in a supportive environment. In our private studio, our instructors will lead an energizing series of fun group exercises where everyone can participate at their own level.
